Before attending Fortis I was a cook at a treatment center.

I wanted to become for changing from a cook to HVAC because everybody needs heating and cooling so it’s pretty much a guaranteed job and it’s a good trade to get into.

I decided to attend Fortis ‘cause I heard about them a little bit and my wife was actually coming here as a nursing student.  

I’ve learned a lot of different things more to what I actually thought there was to the HVAC side of things.  I didn’t really think there was that much to it and there is actually a lot.

The education I got has bettered my life.  It’s actually increased my pay, helped me get further along in life, being able to take care of bills and help take care of my family.
