Our AC unit was giving us some trouble and the gentleman that came in, he opened up the unit, he spoke about it, he let me know what the relays did and the contact did so I am like okay nice, so since I already had a maintenance background I asked him if they were offering a job and he was like that they were but you had to have a certification in HVAC.

Well, Fortis actually was the only school that reached out to me.  I made an inquiry online.

My instructors were great, each and every one of them.  They made me grow.  Little by little I learned a lot and from them individually.  They taught me things as far as textbook-wise but also by their experiences.

My children motivate me because I look at them every day and I see them and I want the best for them.
