I was on Christmas break and I came to Fortis with my mom and I saw a brochure with surg tech and I was reading about and I was like I think this is something I really want to do instead of Kinesiology.

My schedule was very busy.  I worked mornings 8:00 to 12:30 and I had to be in class here 1:00 to 6:00. 

The instructors were very knowledgeable, they were very helpful and they was good.  Some of them still worked in surg tech so they know what’s going on now.

My grandmother and mother are very proud of me because they haven’t really finished like full programs and got a degree and they’re just proud that I did and I’m setting an example for my siblings and my little sister wants to be a surgeon and she tells me I’m going to work for her.  I’m setting a good example for them.
