The Surgical Technology program at FORTIS provides students with the knowledge and skills to work with and under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses. At Fortis, the surgical technology program allows students to become a part of the team that provides care to patients during the crucial periods of surgery.

Surgical Tech Schools

Upon graduation from our surgical tech schools, a graduate will receive an associate’s degree and may be employed as a member of an operating room team, which includes surgeons, surgical assistants, anesthesiologists, and nurses. This is a hybrid program, which means that the majority of the program is taken at the campus and several courses within the program (less than 50% of the program) are taken online. The program’s blend of on campus and online courses allows students to experience all the support and services our school has to offer as well the flexibility and convenience of online classes.*
